Agenderfae
Genderfae with an agender floor: your gender moves, never towards man, and most of the time nothing is there at all.

No settled flag. This identity doesn’t have one the community agrees on, so we don’t invent one.
A shorter entry: the essentials, written to the same standard. The fuller guides are on the main identities.
What it is
Take genderfae — gender that moves anywhere except towards man — and set its resting point at nothing. That is agenderfae. Some weeks a girl, some weeks something neutral or unnamed, and underneath all of it, most of the time, no gender at all. The record also calls it agenderdoe.
The wiki that holds the term gives it four readings: being both genderfae and agender; being genderfae while almost always agender to some degree; being genderfae and currently agender; or a librafluid gender that fits the genderfae shape. Nobody has ranked those. People use whichever one describes them, and the word is small enough that nobody is checking.
Plainly: this is a young word. Its record says it was coined on Tumblr by the blog neopronouns on 5 November 2020, flag the same day, with agenderfaun and agenderflor as its counterparts. There are no accounts of daily life with it, no numbers, no history beyond that. What follows describes the experience the pieces add up to, and says so where it is guessing.
Pronouns
There is no set. They/them is the obvious fit for a gender that is mostly absent; she/they and fae/faer arrive from the genderfae side. Some people move sets with the gender and tell two or three people; most pick one and keep it, because a moving pronoun is a lot to ask of everyone else. He/him is the one set almost nobody here wants, and that is the tell.

The distinction is the useful part.
The parent word. Same movement, same closed door on man, but the resting point can be anything. If your baseline is a girl or something unnamed rather than nothing, genderfae is enough.
Compare Agenderfae and Genderfae →The floor without the movement. If years go by with nothing there and nothing arriving, agender is the plainer word and no less real.
Compare Agenderfae and Agender →Also mostly nothing with something drifting in, but flux changes how much gender, not which — and it puts no wall on masculinity. If your flickers are sometimes a boy, look there rather than here.
Compare Agenderfae and Agenderflux →It might not be you if…
- Manhood shows up, even faintly, even once a year. One "today I'm a bloke" and genderfae is out, which takes this word with it. Agenderfluid or agenderflux will fit better.
- Nothing ever moves. A flat line for years is agender, and adding a suffix does not make it more precise.
- What moves is your clothes and your mood, not the gender underneath. Wearing a dress on a good week is not a shift in identity.
- You like the moss-and-faeries texture of the word more than the definition matches. The flag is lovely. It is not evidence.
Questions people ask
Is agenderfae a kind of agender or a kind of genderfae?
Both, and the record files it in both families. The honest answer is that it depends which half is doing the work for you. If you mostly need to say "nothing", lead with agender and add this when it matters. If you mostly need to say "moves, but never man", lead with genderfae. The word exists for people who kept having to say both sentences.
Do I have to use fae/faer pronouns?
No. The pronoun set and the label share a faerie root and a corner of Tumblr, and that is the whole connection. They/them is at least as common here. Use what works in the rooms you are actually in.
Where does the word come from?
Its record on the LGBTQIA+ Wiki says a Tumblr blog called neopronouns coined it on 5 November 2020 and drew the flag the same day, combining the agender and genderfae flags. That is the entire paper trail. No studies, no surveys, no numbers — anyone quoting you a statistic about agenderfae people has made it up.
